Pujitha is a Master’s student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of
Saskatchewan. She is a Research Assistant at the Plant Phenotyping and Imaging Research
Centre, working under the supervision of Dr. Mark Eramian and Dr. Leon Kochian. She is
working on the extraction of plant root phenotypes using graph-based semantic segmentation and
other image processing techniques. Pujitha has recently received the M.Sc. citizenship award
from the department of Computer Science for actively contributing to various activities and
events on campus. She also worked as a Software Engineer at Bosch Global Software
Technologies back in India.
